Cinnabon Bakery Review / The Best Bakery?

My sister is a regular TikTok user who watches many food and travel tiktoks. Recently, she came across the Cinnabon bakery that opened up in Asda and has been making its way to the top, as the bakery is promised to sell delicious food. But is that true?

Note: We tried these buns on Friday 4th February 2022.

What is Cinnabon Bakery?

Cinnabon is an American chain of baked goods stores and kiosks. They recently opened their new branch inside Asda Leyton Mills which my sister visited.

What I Ordered And My Opinions On It:

Caramel Pecan Bun (£3.65)

No more waiting… I will confess straight away that this was my favourite out of the three buns that I tried. This contained pecan and caramel, and usually I am not a huge fan of caramel, but this bun won over. It looked golden, shiny and large in size and inside there were little pecans. When I bit into it, I realised that the flavours were balanced and the caramel was not too sweet. The texture of the pecan gave it that hard crunch and altogether I enjoyed this. However, it wasn’t my favourite dessert overall, so I have to rate it a ⅘.

Chocobun (£3.45)

This was one that we tried as my sister and I love chocolate. This had chocolate drizzled on top which gave it a nice look and a more homey look. In terms of taste, I felt that the chocolate did get quite messy and it was just too sweet for me. I didn’t really feel the authenticity of the chocolate. But it was still well made, so I would rate this a ⅗.

Normal bun (£2.95)

This bun was the classic one. I found this again to be decorated in an average fashion and in terms of taste, it tasted normal, but a bit too sweet for me. Maybe for those of you who have a sweet tooth, you could try this bun, but again, it was not for me. I would rate this a ⅗.

The Place:

The place was quite small and there were no seating areas to dine in. This is for takeaway. This is based on my sister’s trip there.

The Service:

The staff were very polite and kind. There was a long queue and it took her about 10 minutes to get to the stall.

Would I Recommend It?

I would say that overall, it does sell quite unique buns that I have not tried before. I would try the pecan bun again if I had to eat from this bakery again and I would recommend that bun mostly.

It is recommended to also eat the buns fresh.

My Rating: 4/5
