My ‘Mixed Shawarma Platter’ from Villa Lebanese

This is one of my articles on my series of ‘Restaurant Reviews’. In this series, I review some of the restaurants, takeaways and food chains, either from UberEats or I go to the actual place.

On Sunday 21st February 2020, my sister and I ordered from Villa Lebanese through UberEats. We ordered an array of foods. Was it worth the money?

What is Villa Lebanese?

Villa Lebaneseis a Lebanese restaurant in Walthamstow. It sells foods such as shawarma, wraps and more.

What I Ordered And My Opinions On It:

  • Firstly, I ordered a ‘Mixed Shawarma Platter.’ I chose a side of ‘Tabbouleh’, free of charge. I really loved the plating of this – it was like a school lunchbox as shown in the photo above. This was absolutely delicious! The shawarma (chicken and lamb) was nice and warm (quite oily though), the tabbouleh was so unique and tasty and the houmous was very creamy. This is a must try!
  • My sister ordered a ‘Mixed Shawarma’. This contained shawarma (chicken and lamb), chips and a normal salad. My sister quoted it as ‘healthy and fresh’. The salad, according to her, was very different and altogether, it was a 4.5/5.
  • With a 25% off discount and including the delivery and service fee, the total came to £20.90.

The Service:

UberEats took about 30-45 minutes to deliver the food to our house. This was an average amount of time to arrive.

Would I Recommend It?

I would highly recommend this place as the shawarma was very different, and the tabbouleh and hummus for me was very good. If you don’t like oily food, then don’t try the shawarma and it was a bit pricey but I would still recommend it.

My Rating: 4.2/5

This was my short review or diary entry about Villa Lebanese . These are my opinions about this place. Make sure to check out my other restaurant reviews.
