SALAMIS KITCHEN Restaurant Review / A Hidden Restaurant In London?

‘Salami Full Platter’ from SALAMIS KITCHEN

This is one of my articles on my series of ‘Restaurant Reviews’. In this series, I review some of the restaurants, takeaways and food chains, either from UberEats or I go to the actual place.

On Thursday 7th January 2021, my sister and I ordered from SALAMIS KITCHEN through UberEats. We ordered a large platter. Was it worth the money?

What is SALAMIS KITCHEN?

SALAMIS KITCHEN is a Turkish restaurant which has both dine-in and takeaway in Ilford Lane. There are a range of foods such as main course, platters, burgers and more.

What I Ordered And My Opinions On It:

  • We ordered one ‘Salamis Full Platter’. It serves 5-6 people. We shared this between my whole family (5 people altogether).
  • This full platter contains Cacik, ıspanaklı tarator humus, and saksuka. Lamb shish, chicken shish, adana kebab (2 pieces), lamb chops (4 pieces), lamb ribs (7 pieces), chicken wings (7 pieces), chicken beyti, chicken doner, and lamb doner. This was served with rice, bread, and salad.
  • Altogether, this was absolutely delicious. It looked nice and there was a wide range of food to try from.
  • The platter, by itself, cost £56.00 but with the 25% off discount, delivery and service fee, the total came to £55.89.

The Service:

UberEats took about an hour to deliver the food to our house. This was an average amount of time to arrive. The food was packaged very nicely and the food was also presented very nicely.

Would I Recommend It?

I would recommend this place and it does serve pretty tasty food. It is presentable and for the price, it may be a bit costly without the discount (including delivery and service fees) but it was worth it. Try it at least once or twice.

My Rating: 4/5
