Food from ‘Maize Blaze’

On 1st April 2021, my sister and I went out of our comfort zone and tried a new cuisine which was Colombian food from Maize Blaze. We ordered through the Uber Eats app.

What is Maize Blaze?

Maize Blaze is a restaurant in Tower Hamlets. It sells a selection of Colombian Street Food such as street meat and veggie classics. 

What I Ordered And My Opinions On It:

  • Firstly, my sister and I ordered two ‘Meal Deal – Pollo Salad And Drink’. The drink was ‘Copella Cloudy Apple Juice.’ 
  • Each box cost £8 and the total including service fee with free delivery was £17.60.
  • I found this box to be quite unique and it contained salad and meat. I found it to be quite average overall.
  • My sister quoted the box to be ‘fresh but more chicken required.’

The Service:

UberEats took about 30-45 minutes to deliver the food to our house. This was an average amount of time to arrive. 

Would I Recommend It?

I would recommend this place if you are trying Colombian food for the first time but if not, then I would not necessarily recommend it.
