Franzos Leyton Restaurant Review: Would I Recommend This Eating Place?

On Tuesday 18th August 2020, I and my sister headed to Franzos, which may have been a restaurant that was recommended by some of my friends. With the £10 Eat To Help Out Scheme, it was a good time to try some new food from Franzos. But, was it really worth it and would I recommend it?

What is Franzos?

Franzos is a grill shop. There are a few branches and the one my sister and I went to was the Leyton one. Some say that it is the cheaper version of Nandos.

What I Ordered And My Opinions On It:

  • I ordered the Lamb Gourmet Burger with a side of salad and a drink of Coke. The burger was pretty good but it wasn’t outstanding or anything too amazing.
  • I also ordered a ‘Piri Piri Chicken Wrap’. This was also quite delicious but again not anything too outstanding.
  • Lasly, we ordered 6 chicken strips which were quite nice too.
  • Overall, the food was pretty average for me.

The Service:

The food took a reasonable amount of time to come and the staff were pretty direct and nice.

The Place:

The Leyton Branch is quite small so I did see some people struggling to come inside and it was a bit cramped but I and my sister were pretty comfortable. At some point, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet which showed that this was quite a small shop.

The actual place was pretty clean.

Would I Recommend It?

Overall, the food was pretty good so yes, I would recommend someone to go there once or twice but after that, I probably would not recommend it as it is a pretty average restaurant in my opinion.

My Rating: 3.5/5

This was my short review or diary entry about Franzos. These are my opinions about this restaurant. Make sure to check out my other articles.
