Café 17 Review / The Best Café In London?

During my summer holidays back in 2021, I went out with one of my friends to this café. This was completely unexpected, as we were looking for a place to eat, and we found this café, Café 17. I ended up trying a dessert there, but was it worth it?

What is Café 17?

Café 17 is a cafe in Walthamstow. Unfortunately, based on Google, it is now closed but I still wanted to document my experience of this place.

What I Ordered And My Opinions On It:

Waffles with Ice Cream (£7.95)

I tried these waffles and ice cream in the store. And let me tell you, it was fabulous! The presentation was absolutely amazing, with ice cream and strawberry syrup glazed and drizzled on top of these waffles and on the side, they decorated the waffles with more strawberries, blueberries and syrup! In terms of taste, it was a good balance of sweetness and there were different textures involved.

Overall, it was a good little dessert from a café and I think the presentation and taste was worth the price.

The Place:

The place was quite small but there were seating areas available. My friend and I sat at a small table for two, which was a bit too small but that’s okay.

The Service:

There was only one staff member there and he actually served us even though the shop was about to close. He made the food pretty quickly as we were the only customers in the store and he was quite kind too.

Would I Recommend It?

I would say that overall, it was quite a neat little cafe and I would try the cafe again and try the different foods available, but unfortunately, the cafe is now closed.
